IHEA — Italian Hospital Equipment Agency — bridges the gap between Italy’s finest hospital equipment manufacturers and healthcare facilities across Africa and the Middle East.

Our Mission

Health, along with food, housing, and education, is one of the four fundamental needs of human life, and upon which humanity’s entire social and economic structure is based. In areas of the world and nations where demographic growth is advancing faster than economic and technological development, these needs are even more acute and pressing. Meeting these needs for a higher quality of life and peaceful coexistence is an imperative for every government.

Our work philosophy is to research healthcare needs in various countries, collaborating with local providers, the respective Ministries of Health, and dedicated International Organizations. Once specific needs have been identified and clarified, we act as agents to connect manufacturers and users directly for potential purchases. This way, hospitals and clinics under construction or renovation are offered essential support during the design phase from the technical departments of top Italian manufacturers — ensuring the best balance between quality, price, and fairness in the equipment procurement process.

Local Expertise

Installed locally, supported long-term

Installation work is entrusted to local personnel selected by us and who undergo appropriate training. An Italian supervisor will be present and responsible for the initial installation phase and will then ensure, together with the manufacturing plant, the necessary support for the trained local personnel to enable subsequent routine maintenance. This way, technical knowledge and economic support are generated in the local area.

If the hospital’s request concerns the need for extraordinary maintenance on systems requiring repair, we can assess the situation, define the procedures, and arrange for highly professional and capable Italian technicians to intervene.
